I spy with my little eye something that starts with a ‘V’…. Villa! Ahhhh Bali. The island of sun, surf, and… VILLAS.
With many choices of accommodation in Bali, it can sometimes pose a challenge to decide where to stay. So I have developed criteria to help me choose the best villa to stay in, and it includes:
- a sizeable pool (I mean really, nobody wants a plunge pool that is just an oversized bathtub),
- a spacious living room area that opens up to the garden,
- a generous sized bedroom and bathroom area,
- a location that is easily accessible to restaurants, bars, and the beach, and
- all at an affordable price
And so if villa is what you seek when you come to Bali, and you want something that ticks all the boxes, then check out Le Jardin Villas in Seminyak, Bali. Why?
Well I’ll tell you why. Firstly, your private pool is huge. I mean literally you could host a pool party for a group of 30 and there’d be enough space for everyone. Secondly, it is walking distance to Seminyak beach, which is home to some fantastic beach bars like Ku De Ta and Potato Head, and well an amazing sunset experience. Thirdly, the villa is super spacious… like 2 storeys spacious, so you’ll never feel claustrophobic.
So if I haven’t convinced you already to check out Le Jardin Villas, keep reading on.

Le Jardin Villas
Le Jardin Villas is a boutique resort set in the heart of Seminyak, Bali. When you roam around the small grounds, you forget that you are in amongst the hustle of what lies outside its walls.
With greenery everywhere you look, Le Jardin Villas adds a tropical charm through its beautiful flaura and fauna, which creates an intimate sanctuary…a perfect way to enjoy your Bali holiday.
It was early in the afternoon…the sun shining bright, and Hubby and I arrive shortly after lunch to Le Jardin Villas. It wasn’t even a few minutes into arriving to the hotel that we were warmly welcomed by the front office staff. Our luggage was quickly unpacked from the car, and we proceeded to check in.
Ahhhh the feeling of being on holiday.
Check in was smooth and we were then escorted to our villa. Walking along the path to the villa, I couldn’t help but feel serenely peaceful by the beautiful greenery that surrounded the resort. And if this feeling of peacefulness wasn’t enough…we are treated to a ceremonial foot bath before we could enter our villa.
Ahhh the double feeling of being on holiday.
And then we step into the villa…walking across steps that sits on top a small fish pond filled with a healthy family of fish.
The 2-Bedroom Villa
We stayed in a 2-storey, 2-bedroom villa, with the master bedroom on the ground level and the second bedroom upstairs.
The ground level houses the living and dining areas, which overlooks the private pool and garden areas. And if you didn’t think the villa could get any more spacious, the private pool is huge – I mean if you are trying to keep fit and healthy while traveling, well it’s a great pool to do laps. And if you just want to relax, it’s also a great pool to cool down.

The master bedroom is huge, with plenty of space for the luggage and all the shopping you’ll do in Bali. And there’s a tree in the room! I don’t mean a potted plant…but an actual tree that the villa has been built around.
The master bedroom leads into the master bathroom, which brings a bit of the outdoors indoors…and it is also…well huge! There’s an oversized bath tub, enough to fit at least 2 people, and a large shower area, a his and hers sink atop a spacious bathroom counter that offers a lot of guest amenities.

Upstairs is the second bedroom, which is also spacious and has its own balcony deck area, which overlooks the pool and garden areas of the villa. The balcony also has a lovely day bed, which is a great space to lounge on and relax.
Eating & Drinking
Daily breakfast is offered with the villa, and you have the option to have breakfast in your villa or their small restaurant – I recommend having it in your villa. There’s nothing better then having breakfast in your PJs, with views over the private pool and garden.
And then in the afternoons, the hotel brings you a small serving of afternoon tea, which is enjoyed in the comforts of your villa. It’s a lovely added touch, especially if you are spending the day relaxing in the villa.

The hotel does offer room service should you need any food. But also walking distance from the resort is a variety of food options, include some fantastic restaurants such as Ku De Ta and Gado Gado.
Location
The hotel is walking distance away from Seminyak beach – about a 10 minutes walk will take you straight to the beach, where you’ll find a number of fantastic beachfront lounge bars.
Seminyak is also a fantastic shopping area, and is also home is an array of spas, cafes, and restaurants – some of the best in Bali.
And Le Jardin Villas offers a shuttle service, which will take you to where you need to go in Seminyak. Just speak to the lovely front office team for more information.
The Verdict
If villa is what you seek, then villa is what you’ll get at Le Jardin Villas. It’s a fantastic spot if you want to be in the heart of Seminyak and be part of all the action in Bali. The villas are spacious, which provides a great option if you are travelling in a small group or if you are a small family. And if you are a couple, well Le Jardin Villas is a fantastic option as well.
A one-bedroom villa starts at approximately A$280 per night, and a two-bedroom starts at approximately A$370… plus or minus depending on the season you travel and availability of the room type.
Le Jardin Villas is another fantastic inspiration from the team at Avilla Hospitality. They are a local Balinese hospitality management company that have created some wonderfully themed hotels and resorts around the island. They are also the wonderful team behind lovely resorts including Alindra Villas and Berry Amour.

Wow it’s so beautiful there, really looks like paradise! The tree inside the room and pool are just gorgeous! Although the foot bath would be a bit of a cultural shock to me lol, I think I’d be uncomfortable :p Breakfast also looked delicious, what kind of food was it?
That sounds and looks amazing! But I think the price is still a bit too expensive for me. Lol. The breakfast looks yummy, it’s been a long time since I’ve had rice for breakfast. I think a trip to Asia must be done to satisfy this craving. :p
Wow. I mean, this looks amazing, even for a villa in Bali. While the price is a little out of my price range, i love that the villa is so close to the beah and great shopping areas. Not to mentionthe food looks amazing. Putting this villa on my list for when I eventually visit Bali.
How is this only 4-star?! It looks like an absolute dream!!! I’ve been coming across more and more posts about Bali recently and it’s only intensifying how much I NEED to visit! Although these villas are slightly out of my “post-graduation, my bank account still thinks it’s a student” budget, a girl can dream right?! Also, your photography on that breakfast photo is insane!
I have not been to Bali and I keep reading about, seeing beautiful photos. I think I will have to visit. The pool looks amazing, not sure about the beakfast.
I’ll be back in Bali in two weeks and Le Jardin was actually on my short list! I’m sad now that I chose elsewhere as it looks amazing! I would be looking at a one bed villa rather than the two you had but hopefully it would be just as fabulous. I’m going back again in August so will definitely take a second look.
These villas are beautiful! I think I walked past them when I was in Seminyak a couple years back and wondered what was behind the little entryway! I love that they have their own pool too – totally the best way to get away for the bustling streets! I wish I’d known then they were there – they are much nicer than where we stayed!
For me the most important thing about this hotel is that it is close to bars and restaurants, I hate being isolated, unless I’m on a romantic getaway with a lady (which rarely happens!). The private pool there is impressive though, to be so big and also private! The food looks delicious and alI love how they bring it to the room, I think it’s better for a couple here than a solo traveler.
The property looks super luxurious and love your 2 bedroom villa. Would definitely check out the property the next time we are in Bali as well as Seminyak. We stayed at Anantara and Ayana on our last visit so did not bother to look at any other property.
The villas in Bali literally make me go oh la la. I’ve always wanted to stay in a nice place where I can jump from my room into the pool should I wish. I would definitely stay inside for the tasty afternoon tea.
Wow this place looks amazing! Great pictures 🙂
