Over the years, I have booked so many trips, and I have tested numerous travel resources. Below is a compilation of products and services that I have personally used to organise all things travel.

Everything listed below are resources that I love and believe provide excellent quality to its customers. Keep checking back in here, as I will continually update this list as I discover more amazing things.

Let’s get started.

Tours

Urban Adventures | Travel Resources | Hello Raya BlogUrban Adventures organises unique day tour experiences around the world. These guys are fantastic and work closely with local companies to ensure an authentic experience. From food tours to bicycle tours to walking tours…you name it… Urban Adventures offers a wide range of experiences for you to choose from.

Intrepid | Travel Resources | Hello Raya BlogSometimes the best way to travel through a country is by joining a group tour. Intrepid Travel offers its clients a personalised service through small group travel, that focuses on a local authentic experience and affordability. I have had many friends, plus myself personally travel with Intrepid, and the feedback is always positive. Plus it’s a great way to meet other fellow travellers and watch friendships blossom.

Withlocals | Travel Resources | Hello Raya Blog

Sometimes it helps to get around a city with a local – someone who knows the place back to front and can show you hidden gems that you might have missed if you went around yourself. Withlocals is a platform that connects you with locals who offer tours and cultural experiences in different cities around the world. As their slogan goes, “Enjoy a city like a local.”

Bonappetour | Travel Resources | Hello Raya Blog

Wherever I travel, I am a firm believer in trying local foods and interacting with the locals. With Bonappetour,  you can experience a meal prepared by a local family. What a better way to authentically experience a culture than to enjoy a home cooked meal eaten with a local family.

 Accomodation

AirBnB | Travel Resources | Hello Raya BlogAirBnb is an accomodation marketplace that connects you with owners looking to rent their place. It is also a great platform if you wish to rent your own property. I find AirBnb an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel. In many cases, you get to meet locals who can help you along your travels and it can be a more budget friendly option. If you sign up through the following link, you’ll get credit towards your first booking. My preferred places to use AirBnb are in Australia, Europe and America.

Agoda | Travel Resources | Hello Raya Blog

If you prefer staying in a hotel, then I like to book through Agoda. Agoda works closely with properties around the world to negotiate prices. It provides you with a good range of filters to help you best select your hotel.  You can also read reviews from other travellers to help you make the best decision.

Photography

Nikon | Travel Resources | Hello Raya BlogI absolutely love taking photos. As you might already know, all photos on Hello Raya have been personally taken by yours truly. And I love my Nikon Digital SLR Camera – I take it everywhere with me. I personally am using the D3100. I find it lightweight, easy to use and I love that there is also a video recording option. If you are new to photography, I definitely recommend the Nikon D3100 or D3200 as a great starter camera.

GoPro | Travel Resources | Hello Raya BlogFollowing on for my love of photography, I also love taking video. And I love underwater activities, so my GoPro is the perfect accessory. I personally use the Hero 4 Silver, which is just perfect for what we use it for. And of course, make sure to get the official GoPro accessories for your camera – don’t make the same mistake we made. We lost our old camera underwater because the accessory used was not made by GoPro and not a good quality.
